Big Tom Memorial Garden

Description

We were delighted to be involved in landscaping The Big Tom Memorial Garden.  This project was designed and funded by Monaghan County Council in recognition of local musician Big Tom McBride of Oram, a colossus of the Irish Country Music scene.

The Garden was constructed in Oram village beside the local football pitch, where Tom played for many years. He was a lifelong supporter and his family are still heavily involved with the club today.

The Park was officially opened on Friday, July 2nd 2021 by Heather Humphreys, local TD and Minister for Rural and Community Development & Justice before a small group of invited guests.

The garden has been a huge success and is well visited by Big Tom fans from all corners.
